Congratulations to the Winners of The Old Theater’s Got Talent Virtual Talent Show Fundraiser!

Luke Douglas is a 16 year old pianist. He plays “River Rapids”, a song he wrote at 15.

Emily Wheeley - "She Used to be Mine"

Emily Wheeley is 15 and loves community theater. She sings "She Used to be Mine" from the Broadway Musical Waitress.

Flying Blind - "Voyage"

Flying Blind performs Voyage
Bob Laverty wrote "Voyage" on a trip to Oriental, NC in his 29’ sloop "Joie De Vie". He performs his song with his Swansboro based group "Flying Blind" featuring Jack Ketner on fiddle and Gary Edmisten on bass.

Barry Bey - "One Man Band"

Barry Bey performs One Man Band
Singer/songwriter Byron "Barry" Bey has performed on radio and television. He performs "One Man Band" by Old Dominion.

Byron Lambdin - "Till I Gain Control Again"

Byron Lambdin performs Till I Gain Control Again
Byron Lambdin is retired, plays his guitar, and does a lot of fishing in the Oriental area. He plays and sings "Till I Gain Control Again".

Ken Belangia - "The Skye Boat Song"

Ken Belangia performs The Skye Boat Song
Ken Belangia is a guitarist and singer in Oriental. He paired his rendition of "The Skye Boat Song" with photos of his trip to Ireland.

Rosa Cardona - "Three Little Birds"

Rosa Cardona performs Three Little Birds
Rosa Cardona recently got up the courage to sing at Open Mic Night. She sings Bob Marley’s "Three Little Birds".

Elaine Creel - "Turn Up the Spotlight"

Elaine Creel performs Turn Up the Spotlight
Elaine Creel reprises her role of Mother Superior in Nunsense, with monologue and song, "Turn Up the Spotlight."

Abby is a 3 year old Belgian Malinois that failed police dog training. Yolanda Cristiani produced a video showcasing Abby succeeding at her latest training.

Per Erichsen performs the opening monologue to "Murder on the Orient Express" as Hercule Poirot, a role he was set to play when the pandemic hit.

Ben Gaskill - "Point of Light"

Ben Gaskill has been a director and performer at The Old Theater. He sings "Point of Light" by Randy Travis.

TerryLynn Melody - "Desire"

TerryLynn Melody performs Desire
TerryLynn Melody is a singer-songwriter who started performing in community theater and at churches in New Bern. She performs her original song "Desire".

Isabella Rodriguez - "Never Enough"

Isabella Rodriguez performs Never Enough
Isabella Rodriguez is a 17 year old senior at Pamlico County High School. She sings "Never Enough" from the movie musical The Greatest Showman.

Michele Rodriguez - "Crazy"

Michele Rodriguez performs Crazy
Michele Rodriguez has performed previously at The Old Theater. Her last role was Sister Leo in Nunsense. She sings Patsy Cline’s "Crazy".

Russ Stevenson - "Sarie Marais"

Russ Stevenson performs Sarie Marais
Russ Stevenson has taken part in many plays at the Old Theater, and plays the Ukulele with The Uhoos. Russ sings "Sarie Marais" in Afrikaans.
