Volunteers - We Need You
The Old Theater provides a stage where our diverse community can come together to experience and celebrate the joys of theatre. But that building would be a dark and lonely place if not for people who give the generous gift of their time and energy to bring events to life.
Our volunteers are united by their passion for sharing the joys of theatre with others in our community. As an Old Theater volunteer, you’ll become more involved in our community and serve as a goodwill ambassador for our organization. Old Theater volunteers meet new people, assist with outstanding productions and have fun!
No matter what your experience level, the Old Theater has opportunities for you to get involved. We’re always on the lookout for volunteers with an interest in:
- Acting
- Production
- Stage Direction & Management
- Lighting & Sound Set-up & Operation
- Set Design, Construction/Painting
- Props
- Wardrobe & Makeup
- Movie Projectionist
- House
- Ticket Window
- Greeters (take tickets and hand out programs)
- Concession Sales
- Ushers
- Administrative Support: Mailings, poster distribution, sponsor solicitation
- Facility Enhancement: Painting & other theater beautification projects
